Fingerprint Pods Single Follicle Earstuds with Rubies

These ear posts are from my Fingerprint Pods series inspired by the whimsical seedpods of the Australian native trees; Banksias. The pods are hand moulded in wax by me and therefore have a lovely surface texture from my fingerprints. They are then cast in 925 silver, cleaned and soldered to become ear posts and finally set with two rubies nestled like seeds within the form. Elegant and classic style perfect for everyday or to give that special accent to a festive outfit.
